Be Who You Are

Over the last decade, over 500 girls have participated in Susanne’s exclusive GirlPower: Be Who You Are! program, gaining confidence in their authentic selves through movement, creativity, sharing and caring. The program provides a safe, nurturing, positive environment where girls ages 8 - 14 can explore who they are and who they want to grow into. Choose from single day workshops or customize a week-long summer or school vacation series.

Susanne, I am SO grateful to be in this great program. I am so inspired by your constant recognition of a good deed and your natural energy, kindness, love of dance and compassion. You have taught me so much about life and taking care of yourself emotionally and physically. I am positive I will continue GirPower! next summer and the summers after that, too!

Love

yourself and others

  • Build Self-Confidence

  • Find your unique strengths and boost self-esteem

  • Learn leadership skills and follow your own path

  • Learn how to care and advocate for yourself

  • Learn at many levels: social, emotional, artistic

  • Love and value yourself both inside and out

  • Feel connected with others and part of a community

  • Have the freedom to try new things, while feeling safe and supported.

By far the best week of the summer for Annabelle. It gave her so much on so many levels: socially, artistically and physically. It really helped her mature in some ways. She enters middle school this fall and meeting girls already in middle school relieved her anxiety and helped her actually look forward to the new year.

Programs

Check ‘em out

In addition to scheduled single day workshops and vacation series offered through sponsors like Steinberg Wellness, Susanne can work with you to develop a custom program. GirlPower: Be Who You Are! is all about guiding girls in exploring fun ways to move, discover their strengths, find their unique voices and make new friends. Custom programs blend mindful movement, honest discussion, journaling, and artistic activities to create an inspirational setting for girls to flourish and be themselves.

Appropriate for individuals, small groups, Girl Scout troops, home schooled children, school clubs, worship communities and more. Past GirlPower programs include a wilderness program in the White Mountains, and themes like “Thoreau” and “The Inner Goddess.”

Susanne helped me to create a half-day workshop for my 5th grade daughter and 10 other girls. The goal was to create a safe, fun, and respectful space, cementing their amazing friendships and setting a positive framework to tap into in the (often-turbulent) middle school years ahead. Highly recommend!
