Do you know there are activities and exercises you can do a few times each week to really improve your posture? This workshop, part lecture and part demonstration, helps to improve your posture, alignment and overall well-being using techniques, simple props and exercises based in Pilates, biomechanical principles, and functional fitness. Within a few weeks, you will be standing taller, stronger, and with more confidence.

Bring: For the day of the workshop, we would like you to wear/bring:
Comfortable clothing
A mat (if you do not have one of your own, we have several in the studio)
2 toning balls or hand weights (1, 2 or 3 lbs.) (Instructor has limited quantity; please advise if you need to reserve.)
A flexband
A medium sized hard book
a dowel, broom stick, long stick or non-collapsible umbrella
