For Parkinson’s Disease

The Dance for PD program was created by the renowned Mark Morris Dance Group on the premise that professionally-trained dancers are movement experts whose knowledge is useful to persons with PD. This class specializes in adaptive movement for individuals with neuromuscular disorders, drawing on the power of dance to concentrate mind, body and emotion. In Dance for PD, participants use all their faculties to explore movement and music in ways that are refreshing, enjoyable, stimulating and creative.

Offered at Steinberg Wellness Center

You are a superb teacher, leading by example and helping us to do things we never thought were possible. You have always encouraged and never judged. Your concern for each of us as individuals is both touching and gratifying. Many of us are sure that our mobility has
improved measurably as a result of your efforts.

Above all, you have given us optimism that pleasure and happiness are possible and will remain possible even in the face of a crippling disease.
